MY MOTHER

My mother🕊️ was this nice, accommodating and a no nonsense kind of person, who wouldn't hesitate to put you in your place if you too do..lol. When we moved to our site in Ikotun-Abaranje from Isheri-Ojodu, she started selling cooked food as she's always available, our house turned to a mini daycare centre where people drop their kids in the morning and come pick them later in the day. Some even started sleeping over at some point.

My dad's business was still at Isheri-Ojodu and so,he doesn't come home everyday but twice in a week ( Wednesdays and Saturdays). My mum made so much money from cooked food because we also started supplying food to sites where people are work and as the areas was a new site, we're always having high demands.

A quick one, my mum had married and had 3children(2boys and a girl) before marrying my dad which he's also aware of. So I have 3 elderly ones and the female amongst the three was living with us as at that time and we all helped mum to supply food, buy stuff and in cooking.

I could remember her counting so much money at the end of the day's business with happiness written all over, while we also watch in happiness.

She would visit the Answani market from time to time to buy a lot of stuff for us and herself and we all lived happily and contented. Cheerios 💖💋

I'd be writing about my dad in my next post.catcha😁
